HK WINE & DINE Festival 2017: Carrie Lam, the Chief Executive of Hong Kong, meets with Guillaume Gonfrier.
This Saturday afternoon, Guillaume Gonfrier, of the Vignobles Gonfrier, shared his Cadillac wine (Château de Lyde) with Carrie Lam, the new Chief Executive of Hong Kong, during her tour of the event in the company of Peter Lam, President of the Hong Kong Tourist Office and co-organizer of the festival. For the co-organizers from Bordeaux present on-site – Stephan Delaux, President of Bordeaux Grands Evénements, and Allan Sichel, President of the CIVB (“Bordeaux Wine Council”) – this first visit in-person by the head of the Hong Kong government is “a very promising sign”.
Château De Marsan, De Lestiac, Du Grand Bern, Le Gardera, Materre, le Marquis de Bern are recently rewarded during the General Agricultural competition of Paris.
The Company Gonfrier Frères Environnement includes the 26 hectares of the Château Laurétan which are conducted according to the requirements of organic farming.
The sales will begin with the 2014 vintage. After aging in barrels for one year, it will be bottled in February 2016 while the promising 2015 vintage begins to turn his farm.

An ideal color trio for summer!
The Essens Cup is co-organized by the wine clubs of ESSEC Business School and ENS Paris. This is the first competition involving students on their knowledge in oenology and gastronomy. The first edition of the Essens Cup is chaired by Michel Bettane and takes place on June 1, 2016 near Paris in an exceptional place: the Château de Ferrières.
