Bordeaux rouge Château de Lestiac carries the same name as the district in which it is located, 25 kilometers southeast of Bordeaux, on the right bank of the Garonne River. The wine is vinified at Château de Marsan, home to the estate’s headquarters and the winery facilities built by the Gonfrier family. Vinification : Destemming, crushing and vatting. Cold pre-fermentation maceration during 72 hours, to delicately extract colour and fruitiness. Fermentation and maceration in stainless-steel, temperature-controlled tanks for a period of 2 to 3 weeks.Ageing : 6 months in barrels and in tanks. Tasting notes:A fruity, supple and harmonious wine with well-melted tannins.
