Born in Germany in 1988 from a crossing of two species, Solaris and Dornfelder, Monarch is still a little known grape variety. It was officially classified in France only in 2017. Nevertheless, Monarch is a grape variety that is both naturally resistant to the main cryptogamic diseases of the vine and also adapted to current climatic conditions, as it synthesizes little sugar. The deer on the label, symbolizing the regeneration of life with its antlers, reveals an answer to the great climatic questions.

This exceptional terroir, perfectly suited to the variety, promises wines of unparalleled quality. Originating from the Rhône Valley, Syrah brings its rich, spicy profile to Bordeaux, where it harmonizes beautifully with the region’s unique characteristics. Despite its reputation for thriving in warmer climates, Syrah adapts effortlessly to Bordeaux’s temperate conditions, drawing strength from its diverse soils. The result is wines of bold elegance, deep color, and intricate flavors. The chameleon on the label, a symbol of adaptability, reflects Syrah’s extraordinary ability to thrive and shine in this remarkable setting.
On our exceptional clay-limestone terroir, we cultivate resilient grape varieties—Souvignier Gris and Sauvignac—crafted for the future of viticulture. These innovative grapes, naturally resistant to disease, allow us to produce a vibrant, expressive white wine while embracing sustainable practices. The white stork, proudly featured on our label, is a powerful symbol in Gironde, where its presence has grown thanks to its remarkable adaptability. Migrating vast distances yet returning each year, it embodies regeneration and loyalty to its environment—values that resonate with our approach to winemaking.
