Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux - Cuvée Prestige Château de Lestiac carries the same name as the district in which it is located, 25 kilometers southeast of Bordeaux, on the right bank of the Garonne River. The wine is vinified at Château de Marsan, home to the estate’s headquarters and the winery facilities built by the Gonfrier family.The Cuvée Prestige is a selection of the property’s best terroirs. A particularly meticulous vinification, with an extended maceration. Ageing is carried out entirely in oak barrels, with considerable new wood. Cold pre-fermentation maceration during 72 hours, to delicately extract colour and fruitiness. Fermentation in stainless-steel, temperature-controlled tanks. The maceration is extended to obtain a powerful dense wine.Ageing: 18 months in oak barrels.Tasting notes: Intense, deep and brilliant in colour. The nose opens with aromas of dark berries (blackcurrant, blackberry) and continues with subtle spicy and grilled notes. Powerful in the mouth, with lovely fullness.
